How this actually works

A correction arrives with its source — and the post stays exactly where it was.

This is a real post from the commons, with a real note beneath it. Nobody was silenced, nothing was removed, and anyone reading can follow the citation themselves.

Three grams of vitamin C a day and I have not had a cold since

Two winters now with no colds at all. I take 3g of vitamin C every morning. I am convinced it is the reason — posting in case it helps someone else.

Readers added context

The Cochrane review of 29 trials (11,306 participants) found regular vitamin C did not reduce cold incidence in the general population — it shortened duration by about 8% in adults. Two winters without a cold is very plausible without the vitamin C being the cause.

02Delete to winA correction must cite a source, and it never hides the post it corrects.
03Let an advertiser decideSponsored placements are always labelled, never touch ranking or moderation, and any member can switch them off free, in one click.

05Punish a null"I tried this and it did nothing" is as welcome here as any success story.

On sponsored placements: they exist, they are always labelled, and they never touch ranking or moderation — no advertiser can buy feed position or get a post removed. Any member can switch them off free, in one click, in settings. Nothing in your health record is ever used to select one, and that has no opt-out because it needs none.

Come and find the others.

Free. It takes about twenty seconds.
